What is the 2017 Toyota Camry oil type?
I found a great deal on a used Toyota Camry on Craigslist. The owner had maintenance records, but he said it’s probably due for an oil change. He didn’t have the owner’s manual, so I’m not sure what type of oil it needs. What’s the oil type for a 2017 Toyota Camry?

oil type is SAE 0W-20, although you can use SAE 5W-20 if SAE 0W-20 is unavailable. Just make sure that if you use SAE 5W-20 on one oil change, you use SAE 0W-20 on the subsequent oil change.The amount of oil you need to do an oil change will depend on what type of engine the Camry has:
- If you have a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, you need 4.6 quarts of motor oil.
- If you have a 3.5-liter V-6, you need 6.4 quarts of motor oil.
Toyota suggests using full synthetic motor oil, but both a synthetic blend and convention oil will also suffice.
