After deliberating about what used car to buy, I finally settled on a 2016 Ford Fusion. I’ve changed the oil on my cars in the past and I want to continue to do so on this car. What type of oil do I need for a 2016 Ford Fusion?

Ford Fusion
 oil type is SAE 5W-30. Ford recommends a synthetic blend for best performance, although you can also use a full synthetic or conventional motor oil if you so choose.
The amount of oil you’ll need for an oil change on the 2016 Ford Fusion depends on the engine size:
  • 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine: 5.7 quarts
  • 2.0-liter EcoBoost turbo-four engine: 5.7 quarts
  • 1.5-liter EcoBoost turbo-four engine: four quarts
