I was looking at jobs at the airport for a change of pace. I read a description for a baggage handler manager, but it says that I need airside driving experience. What exactly is airside driving?

Great question! Airside driving is a type of on-the-job driving where you operate a motor vehicle at an airport or landing strip. Because you’re on the tarmac or apron of the airport, you have to adhere to specialized rules and earn certain driving certifications.
