What is a 2003 Honda CRV’s oil type?

I’m learning how to do some of my own car maintenance chores, and I’m pretty excited to save some money (and be more self-sufficient). I have an older model Honda and am unsure of what kind of fluids I’ll need to get—can you tell me what the oil type of a 2003 Honda CRV is?

With gas prices at a historic high, plenty of folks are trying to stretch their vehicle-related budgets right now.
The oil type of a 2003
Honda CRV
is 5W-20. It’s important to make sure you get the correct weight and kind of oil, as using the wrong type can cause severe engine damage. According to the owner’s manual, a synthetic blend is fine as long as it has the American Petroleum Institute (API) seal on it.
Doing some of your own basic maintenance is a nice way to save money on your auto-related expenses. Another great (and easy) way to trim down your car costs is by shopping with car insurance super app
