What engine is in a Mazda 5?

I’ve never bought a Mazda before but I saw a good review for the Mazda 5 on Reddit so now I’m thinking about it for my next car. Is the Mazda 5 a good choice for me if I want an SUV with a lot of power?

Mazda 5
​ models are powered by a 2.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine. This gives the base model of the SUV 157 horsepower and a top speed of 119 MPH when the speed limiter is functioning properly.
However, there are plenty of models and trim level options available for the Mazda 5. These trim levels can change your driving experience and the car’s overall handling quite a bit, so it’s important to explore each before settling on a specific model and trim.
Some critics say that Mazda 5 models can feel underpowered at times, so going for a test drive can be helpful, too. That way, you’ll be sure that the car you’re considering has the kind of power and speed you want without compromising comfort.
