What does Ford axle code B6 mean?
Hi! The sticker on my door jamb has a weird code in the axle column. Can you tell me what Ford axle code B6 means?

Even though they’re confusing, the codes on that sticker can tell you a lot about your truck, from the VIN to the trim package. And, of course, they’ll give you some of the essential info about your axle.
Based on the Ford axle code B6, it looks like you have a late model
Ford F150
(or similar model) with a limited slip differential and a 3.73 ratio.
Ford reused some codes in different years, so the same code may apply to multiple models.
