I have full coverage now but my insurance cost seems high. Other than cost, what else should I consider when switching companies?

“That really depends on what things are important to you.
- Are you looking for a company that is easy to do business with?
- Are you looking for a company with a good reputation for handling claims quickly and fairly?
- Do you have a unique situation that would require specialized insurance?
Insurance is very regulated, so your experience isn’t going to be that different from company to company, except for who you interact with and how you interact with them. For this type of information, check online customer reviews and look up the customer satisfaction ratings with J.D. Power.”

Where should I start when trying to find car insurance?
I just found out my dad doesn't have insurance on his car or my brother's financed car. I've never purchased insurance before, so I'm not sure where to start. I looked online and a lot of carriers want my dad's personal info. I wasn't sure if it was safe and I want to find the cheapest way to get the cars insured.

How do my medical bills get paid when I'm in a not-at-fault auto accident?
"I have medical payments coverage for $10,000. My car insurance company is saying they can send me the check to pay my bills, and then my health insurance will pay the rest. My health insurance is telling me to have my auto insurance pay the hospital directly, and then they'll pay what's left. Does it matter what I do? Will everyone get paid eventually by the at-fault party?"

Why won't my auto insurance cover my husband's injuries?
"My husband and I got into an accident, but I was declared not at fault. My insurance initially said they would cover my medical bills and some of his since he was a passenger. Now that it's time to cover our expenses, they are saying they're only going to cover mine. We don't have health insurance right now and he has his own car insurance. Is there any way to get his bills covered?"
