“The four basic components of a
car insurance
contract are the declaration page, insuring agreement, exclusions, and conditions.
The declaration page is where you’ll find:
  • description of the vehicle
  • name of the insured
  • premiums
  • deductibles
The insuring agreement is where the company explains what they’ve agreed to pay for. The exclusions are exceptions to the insuring agreement, and the conditions are the circumstances that must be met in order to process a claim.”
