What are the best things to do in Hilton Head?

I’m going to be in South Carolina for a while and a friend recommended that I head over to Hilton Head Island. What is there for me to do there?

South Carolina is a wonderful place to visit, especially if you’d like to get away from the cold weather. Hilton Head Island is one of the top tourist destinations in South Carolina and there are a ton of fun things to do there.
The main attraction at Hilton Head by far and away is the shoreline, home to some of the highest-rated beaches in the country, including:
  • Burks Beach
  • Coligny Beach Park
  • Folly Field Beach Park
Once you’ve had your fill of soaking up the sun on
the beach
, it’s time for adventure. Consider a cruise to take in the beautiful scenes of offshore Hilton head—watch for dolphins and other marine life local to the area.
