Here are some of the best road trip destinations in Indiana:- Indiana Dunes National Park: When you think of sand dunes, you probably don’t conjure up images of Indiana, but that’s just what you’ll find at Indiana Dunes National Park. Pro tip: Look out over Lake Michigan to see Chicago about 50 miles in the distance.
- Indianapolis: The state capital has plenty to offer! Grab a shrimp cocktail at the legendary Elmo’s Steakhouse, go to a Pacers game, visit the capitol building, or just saunter along the river’s edge at White River State Park—one of the only urban state parks in the country.
