is a great place to live with lots to do. The best places to live in Phoenix are Arcadia, Anthem, Chandler, Glendale, North Tempe, North Central Phoenix, Verrado, and Paradise Valley. Here are some details about each one:
- Arcadia: One of the most sought-after areas of Phoenix, Arcadia offers urban dwellings with a rural family feel. It’s less than 15 minutes from the airport and downtown Scottsdale, with great shopping and an exceptional school district.
- Anthem: A planned community with a large picturesque piece of land nestled next to the New River. It was named one of the best places to raise a family.
- Chandler: An upcoming community that’s the perfect blend of family-friendly and multicultural, thanks to their award-winning school district and vibrant downtown area.
- Glendale: As “Arizona’s Antique Capital,” Glendale is the 4th largest city in Arizona and home to one of the best antique-shopping areas. It has affordable housing with diverse living options.
- North Tempe: A funky and fun town with old, historic homes. There are also several condominiums and luxury lofts.
- North Central Phoenix: North Central Phoenix is a great family-friendly neighborhood known for its ranch-style homes and historic charm. There are several recognized schools and lots of recreational opportunities. It’s also just a 10-minute commute to downtown Phoenix.
- Verrado: A family-friendly planned community tucked into the White Tank Mountains. There are more than 66 parks with over 21 miles of trails and plenty of retail and restaurants.
- Paradise Valley: A gorgeous city surrounded by the natural beauty of the Mummy Mountains, Camelback Mountains, and Piestewa Peak, Paradise Valley. It’s the perfect spot for outdoor lovers with plenty of southwest-style single-family homes or condos.
