What are common problems with the 2020 Ram ETorgue?
I’m thinking of possibly trading in my older truck for a 2020 Ram Rebel. It has the 5.7 ETorque, but I’m hesitant because I’ve read that it has a lot of problems. Can you tell me some common problems with a 2020 Ram ETorque so I have a better idea of what I’m getting into?

The
2020 Ram ETorque
has several positive attributes and a large fan base; however, some features have been problematic from the get-go. Some of the more common problems include:- The engine shuts off and automatically switches from run to ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) in the middle of driving.
- When ETorque is on, the A/C and ventilated seats won’t work, and vice versa.
- The ETorque stops working suddenly or won’t start, even with a fully-charged battery.
- The EVIC (Electronic Vehicle Information Center) displays incorrect battery voltage while using ETorque.
As you can see, some of the problems aren’t a big deal, but others pose a huge safety concern.
