Should I be worried about Jaguar I Pace battery degradation?

I purchased a new Jaguar I Pace when the model first came out in 2018, and now that it’s been a few years, I’m wondering how much life is left in my battery. Should I be worried about Jaguar I Pace battery degradation?

Now that the
Jaguar
I Pace has been on the market for a few years, there’s evidence to show that the vehicle’s battery may just live up to the brand’s promises. According to Jaguar, the I Pace battery should last as long as the life of the vehicle!
And if that doesn’t pan out, you’re covered by the Jaguar I Pace battery warranty. Under the warranty, if your battery degrades to less than 70% before eight years or 100,000 miles—whichever comes first—then you may be eligible for a battery replacement.
However, there is an important recall to be aware of with the Jaguar I Pace. It’s not directly related to the battery’s performance, but rather the power-regenerative function of the brake system, which feeds into the battery charge. Certain 2019-2020 model I Pace vehicles may experience a delay in braking, increasing the potential hazard of a collision.
