Is there a reason why my Honda Civic won't start and has no clicking noise?

I’ve tried to start my Honda Civic this morning a few times, and it’s not doing anything. However, it doesn’t seem like it’s the battery, as I don’t hear a clicking noise. Why would my Honda Civic refuse to start and not have a clicking noise?

The reason your Honda Civic won’t start and has no clicking noise is likely because you have a bad starter. When you have a bad starter, you won’t hear the clicking noise like you would if the battery was dead or the alternator was going bad.
Depending on your model year, trim, and specific type of Civic, you can reasonably expect to spend between $350 and $700 to replace the starter. Shopping around will yield the best results, or you can always purchase the replacement part on your own to save on the markups charged by many mechanics.
