Is there a 2015 Honda Fit battery upgrade?

I’ve had my Honda forever, and it’s been reliable until recently. Now it’s hard to start, especially in the winter. I’ve even had to jump the battery a few times. I’ve heard people say that the battery in the 2015 Honda Fit is notoriously weak. So is it possible to install a bigger, better one?

It’s never fun to jumpstart your car! Luckily, you can likely upgrade the battery in a Honda Fit.
The 2015
Honda Fit
has a small battery—the 151R, which can be very tricky to start in cold weather. Most Fit drivers decide to install a 51R battery instead. It starts easier and usually costs less than the 151R.
Some Fit drivers are able to simply swap out the battery. But if for some reason your new battery doesn’t fit, you might have to remove the right side of the battery box housing. You or a mechanic can do this with a simple Dremel cut-off disc.
Pop the new battery in and enjoy an upgrade. You’ll go from 340 cold crank amps (CCA) to 500 CCA! This will make it so much easier to start in cold temperatures.
