Is lane splitting legal in New Mexico?
I was thinking about trading my car for a motorcycle to save myself some money on gas and time on my commutes, but my mom is telling me my plans for time-saving won’t work because lane splitting is illegal in New Mexico. Is that true?

Not only is it illegal to overtake or pass another vehicle (motorcycle or otherwise) in the same lane but it’s also illegal to drive between lanes of traffic whether moving or stopped.
