Is I-94 in Michigan a toll road?

Looking at the route for my upcoming road trip, I see that I have to cross part of Michigan on I-94. Is I-94 a toll road?

I-94 in
Michigan
is not a toll road— Michigan doesn’t have any toll roads at all. The only tolls in Michigan are at certain bridges and tunnels and at the Canadian border.
Toll bridges and tunnels include:
  • Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge
  • Mackinac Bridge
  • Grosse Ile Toll Bridge
  • Blue Water Bridge
  • Ambassador Bridge
  • Detroit-Windsor Tunnel
Be sure to check for Michigan road closures and do a
pre-road trip safety check
on your car before you leave.
