How much does underglow cost?
I’d like to add an underglow to my car, but I’m having trouble trying to figure out how much to budget for something like that. How much does underglow cost?

Great question! Underglow generally costs between $50 and $600, but the exact cost will largely depend on the quality of the underglow kit you purchase and whether or not you have a professional install it.
It’s possible to find DIY underglow kits online for as little as $50, but these won’t last as long as a professionally installed kit and require at least some level of expertise and the right equipment.
Alternatively, you can purchase an underglow kit and have a professional install it—this will usually range anywhere from $250 to $600, depending on the kit and how long the underglow takes to be installed. Most mechanics charge an hourly rate of $100, so expect to pay at least $100 plus the cost of the underglow kit itself.
