I’m so tired of paying a small fortune every time I fill up my gas tank these days and I’m thinking about buying an electric vehicle. Unfortunately, I know nothing about them! How much does it cost to charge a Kia Soul EV?

Kia Soul EV
, produced from 2015 to 2019, has an annual electric cost of $600, according to the U.S. Department of Energy.
Here are some other specs to consider if you’re thinking about purchasing the Kia Soul EV:
  • Equipped with a 109-horsepower electric motor powered by a 30-kWh lithium-ion battery
  • Battery charge time on a 240-volt system can take up to five hours, while a conventional 120-volt outlet can take up to 33 hours—but it can also recharge using regenerative braking
  • Offers a 111-mile driving range on a full charge so you can enjoy up to 124 MPGe in the city and 93 MPGe on the highway
