How many Subaru Bajas were made?

I’m a lifelong Subaru fan. One thing that was interesting to me was that I went out to Moab to do some off-roading, and I met a guy that had a Subaru Baja. I’d never seen this model, and he said that it was one of the rarest on the road. How many Bajas did Subaru make?

Combining the all-wheel drive that made Subaru famous with the capacity of a small pickup-truck bed, 30,000 Subaru Bajas were made during its limited run from 2003 to 2006.
Marketed as a multiple-choice vehicle, the Subaru Baja was met with great reception from critics and drivers alike. The major issue was that it didn’t offer the size of an SUV and it didn’t have the capacity of a pickup—at least in terms of towing power and payload.
Even though it was beloved by Subaru fans, sluggish sales spelled the demise of the vehicle after 2006.
While you can’t get a Subaru pickup/SUV hybrid anymore, the brand still has some of the highest-rated and go-anywhere vehicles on the planet. So if you want to buy one for your own, just make sure to keep your
