How can I remove a car from my State Farm policy?

Is there an easier way to remove a car from my State Farm policy? I have always gone to my agent's office, but I would like to update my policy remotely this time, if possible.

Going to your local

agent’s office used to be the only way to make changes to your policy—but times have changed!
Now, you can make changes to your State Farm insurance policy at any time of day by registering your policy online.
To make changes to your State Farm policy online, all you have to do is:
  • Log in on the company’s website using your User ID and password
  • Navigate to your account’s settings to make changes to your policy.
The State Farm app: State Farm also has an app that allows you to manage your policy directly from your mobile device. The State Farm app can also be a great tool for filing claims or requesting roadside assistance, no matter where you are.
You can also call State Farm’s customer service at the following number: 1-855-733-7333. An agent should be able to help you adjust your policy over the phone.
Since you are looking to remove a car from your policy, it’s also a good idea to check in with your state’s DMV to see if there are any plate requirements. In some states, residents must surrender a vehicle’s license plates before removing
