How many spark plugs does a Honda Odyssey have?
I’m in school to be an auto mechanic and my mom asked me to change the spark plugs on her Honda Odyssey. I want to get the parts ahead of time, but I can’t check the engine since she’s going to be driving the car until she drops it off. How many spark plugs does a Honda Odyssey have?

In most cases, you’ll need six spark plugs for the
Honda Odyssey’s
V6 engine—that’s one spark plug for each of the engine’s six cylinders. However, if your mom drives an old Odyssey from the 1990s, it might have a V8 engine instead, which requires eight spark plugs. Keep in mind that spark plugs are relatively cheap (usually between $5 and $20 per plug), so if you’re not sure what type of engine is in your mom’s Honda Odyssey, just buy a set of eight spark plugs. If you end up with extra, you can hang onto them for the next time you need to change a set of spark plugs!
