In 2015,
Dodge
produced over 70,000 Challengers, and sales totaled nearly 67,000 units. 2015 saw the Challenger’s first major redesign, bolstering its appearance and tech while introducing some seriously supercharged new engines: the SRT Hellcat and R/T Scat Pack
. In addition to introducing two new high-performance models, Dodge also released the
Challenger GT
in the same year, which became the brand’s first all-wheel-drive muscle car—and the first of its kind in its segment. The popularity of the Hellcat and R/T Scat Pack models helped propel Dodge into a record-breaking year of sales. Even in 2017 and 2018, the Challenger remained a high-selling muscle car, with over 60,000 units sold each year. Dodge has sold over 743,100 Challenger models, from classic muscle cars of the ‘60s and ‘70s to modern marvels.
