The exact tally of how many Cadillac ELRs were made varies depending on where you look. In all, just under 3,000 Cadillac ELRs total were sold in the United States and Canada.
The Cadillac ELR was in production for just two model years—2014 and 2016—before being phased out completely, and perhaps for a good reason.
U.S. News was blunt in its characterization of the Cadillac ELR as “not a good used car,” pointing out flaws like:
