Cadillac Le Mans Concept

Designed: 1953
This two-door, two-seat luxury convertible was a sight to behold. The Le Mans never made it into production, but its style found its way into other Cadillac models of the 1950s—especially in the form of fins and quad headlamps.

  • Unveiled at the GM Motorama in 1953
  • Just four Le Mans were ever made; one is displayed at the Cadillac Historical Collection in Michigan
  • One of the four Le Mans disappeared soon after the Motorama and was never spotted again

Cadillac Cyclone Concept

Designed: 1959
Designed as a two-seater, bubble-top comvertible, this concept was straight out of the Atomic Age. The ‘59 Cyclone resembled a rocket with its rear fins and front nose cones cutting an unforgettable, electric figure.

  • Featured electrified sliding doors, as well as a radar-powered collision avoidance system
  • Boasted a 390 cubic inch V8 engine with 390 horsepower

Cadillac Voyage Concept

Designed: 1988
An ‘80s concept car that looks like a boat—quite a feat for a luxury four-seater sedan! Despite its smooth lines and futuristic look, the Voyage managed to look futuristic and retro at the same time.

  • Filled with advanced technology (for the time), including the ability to automatically switch from rear to all-wheel drive
  • Featured electronic anti-lock braking as well as four-wheel disc brakes

Cadillac Steinmetz Catera Concept

Designed: 1999
The Steinmetz Catera was a high-performance concept car based on Opel's Omega. The unique design looks like the love-child of a sporty European sedan and a Japanese racer!

  • Featured an engine sporting 284 horsepower

Cadillac Cien Concept

Designed: 2002
The Cien (meaning “100” in Spanish) is a two-door coupe that was unveiled at the 2002 Detroit Auto Show in commemoration of Cadillac’s 100th anniversary.

  • Featured a muscular 7.5 L V12 engine with a hair-splitting 750 horsepower
  • Had quite a pop-cultural footprint—featured in the 2005 film The Island and appeared in video games, including Midnight Club 2 and Gran Turismo 4

Cadillac Sixteen Concept

Designed: 2003
Known for its sleek, almost jewel-like look, the Sixteen was Cadillac’s homage to its V16 luxury sedans of the past. It was the brand's largest model after the Series 70 and 75 limousines.

A gasoline-electric hybrid unveiled at the 2010 Los Angeles Auto Show, the Urban Luxury is a three-door hatchback. Despite its tiny footprint at just 151 inches long, the car offers four seats and a bit of cargo space.

Cadillac Ciel Concept

Designed: 2011
Another hybrid electric concept car, the Ciel was unveiled at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. It looked like a long slab of luxury that could fly, going from 0 to 60 miles per hour in just five seconds.

Designed: 2022
