Before you start a car that’s been sitting for a long time, you should make sure everything’s in working order. Depending on the duration and conditions in which the car was stored, it may have some severe issues.
So before you start it up, you should:
Replace the engine oil
Switch out the oil filter
Put in a new battery
Flush the radiator
Change out the coolants
Replace brake and steering fluids
Pump out the old gas and refill it with new gas
