How do you set up CarPlay in a Honda CR-V?
I used Apple CarPlay in my friend’s car, and it was so convenient! I’m getting ready for a road trip, so I figured it would be a good idea to get it working in my own car before I go. What’s the best way to set up CarPlay in a Honda CR-V?

!Follow these steps to set up CarPlay in your Honda CR-V:
- Step 1: Start by making sure your iPhone software is up to date.
- Step 2: Use an Apple cable to connect your phone to your Honda’s display system.
- Step 3: Start your Honda and navigate to the home screen.
- Step 4: With your phone plugged in, your home screen should ask if you’d like to set up CarPlay.
- Step 5: Select the answer that best suits your needs—either Enable Once or Always Enable.
- Step 6: From there, you can start using CarPlay!
Once it’s set up, you can hold down the call button on your steering wheel to activate Siri, and you should be able to access music, calls, and maps without touching your screen.
