How do you reset oil life on a 2018 Honda Civic?
I have a 2018 Honda Civic EX and I recently got an oil change. When I got the car back, the oil life on the dashboard still read 20%. How can I reset the oil life on my 2018 Honda Civic?

If you recently got your oil changed but your oil indicator still reads 20%, it’s likely your mechanic just forgot to reset it.Fortunately, it’s easy to change. Follow these instructions to reset oil life on a 2018 Honda Civic:
- Keep your foot off the brake and press the push-button start twice.
- Once the instrument cluster lights up, locate the trip button on the right-hand side of the display.
- Press the trip button several times until you see oil life at the bottom of the instrument cluster.
- Press and hold the trip button for about 10 seconds. At this point, you should see the oil life start to flash.
- Release the button.
- Immediately push the trip button for about five seconds or until the oil life reads 100%.
