How do you program a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica garage door opener?

I’m renting a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica for a few weeks while my car is in the shop for repairs. How do I program my rental Chrysler Pacifica to open my garage door?

 you’re renting to open your garage door is an easy process. Just make sure you deprogram the HomeLink buttons before you return it to the rental agency.
Here’s how to get your garage door opener synced up with your vehicle:
  • Place your garage door remote 1 to 3 inches away from the HomeLink buttons
  • Press and hold the door remote button and HomeLink button you want to program
  • Keep holding both buttons until the HomeLink indicator light starts flashing rapidly
  • Get out of your vehicle and find the “Learn” or “Train” button on your garage door motor. Press this button firmly
  • Back in your vehicle, press and hold the programmed HomeLink button for two seconds then release. Keep repeating this step until your garage door opens.
