How do you open the hood on a BMW?
My BMW has been making some weird noises lately and I’m a little concerned. I want to take a peek under the hood, but I’m not quite sure how to open it. How can I pop my BMW’s hood?

The lever is located on the left-hand side of the driver’s seat, near the footrest. Pulling the lever just once will pop the hood open, while pulling it twice will unlatch it completely. Once you’ve successfully opened the hood, your BMW will display a Check Control message.
