How do you open the gas tank on a Honda HR-V?

I’m borrowing my friend’s HR-V for the weekend, and I’m a little embarrassed to ask them this myself. How do you open the gas tank on a Honda HR-V?

Honda HR-V
 is simply a matter of locating the fuel filler release lever—and it’s easy to miss, because it’s not in plain sight!
You’ll find your
Honda
 HR-V’s fuel door release lever on the lower portion of your dashboard, under your steering wheel and to the left, near the floor of the vehicle. Once you’ve found it, just pull toward you on the lever, and the fuel door should pop open.
From there, just unscrew the fuel filler cap and replace it once you’ve finished refueling. Then, close the fuel filler door and make sure it latches shut. That’s all there is to it!
One final tip: be sure to pair that full gas tank with an adequate
car insurance
 policy to keep your HR-V well-protected!
