How often to change the oil on a 2007 Toyota RAV4

Now that you know what type of oil your Toyota needs, and how much of it needs, You’ll need to know how often you’re actually going to be changing the oil!

According to Toyota's recommended maintenance schedule, the oil in a RAV4 should be changed every 7,500 to 10,000 miles. If you’ve made the mistake of switching your car to conventional (rather than synthetic) oil, on the other hand, you’ll need to change the oil much more often—about once every 3,000 to 5,000 miles.

Of course, even if it’s only been a few hundred miles, you should still get the oil changed if you notice something out of place, such as unfamiliar noises, burning smells, or changes in your vehicle’s performance.
