How do you get car insurance after having it canceled?

My insurance canceled my policy after I forgot to pay a bill. How do I get it back?

Yikes! That’s a tough situation. The easiest thing to do is call your insurance company. If you’re only a few days late, your company may reinstate your policy.
You may also want to see if you can set up an autopay feature for your insurance so you don’t have to think about it in the future. Most auto-payments are done digitally, and you may even get a discount for going paperless.
Do note that sometimes when you miss a payment your premiums could go up. If your company makes you apply for a new policy, it may be a good time to shop around for better rates.
Another good way to stay organized is to keep everything in one place. With Jerry, it’s easy to keep track of your car insurance. Not only will Jerry help you find the best rate on a policy, but Jerry will also keep track of all of the paperwork for you, so you’ll never have to worry about missing a payment.
