This can be very frustrating! However, there are a couple places to check for her insurance information.
The first and easiest place is to check her email. Search for keywords like the company’s name, car insurance, etc. Almost all companies these days send email versions of the agreements, so this should work as long as the email wasn’t deleted.
Next, you can check her credit card or bank statements to see how she’s been paying and who it’s been going to. Once you figure out her company, it’s easy to contact them via phone, in-person, or email.
If none of this works, contact the DMV with the vehicle identification number and they should be able to provide you with
app. Not only will we get you customized quotes from top insurers in seconds, we also have an in-app wallet function—so once you pick a plan and we help you switch, you’ll always know where to find your insurance information!
