What’s the best way to dry my car without leaving streaks all over it? I’m picking up my girlfriend’s parents from the airport in a few days, and I want the car to look as clean as possible.

, just to leave streaks in the end. Luckily, you can use these tips to dry your car without leaving streaks:- Wash your car in the shade. One of the biggest causes of streaks is a car drying quickly. When you wash your car in the sun, the water evaporates fast, leaving behind watermarks and streaks. The shade will help it dry slower and leave a clean finish!
- Dry it with a damp towel first. Using a damp towel to clean off excess water before drying it with a new towel is a great way to get big pools of water off. That way, you remove the possibility of large watermarks.
- Keep drying after it’s been wiped down. Oftentimes, streaks come from car owners who stop drying before the job is done. If your car is still damp when you stop drying—it’ll leave streaks! Make sure you keep wiping down your car until it’s 100% dry.
