How do you connect via Bluetooth to a 2011 GMC Acadia?

I recently bought a used 2011 GMC Acadia and would like to connect my phone for the purposes of hands-free calling, but I don’t have the owner’s manual handy—how do you connect via Bluetooth to a 2011 GMC Acadia?

Connecting your phone via
Bluetooth
to your 2011
GMC Acadia
is a pretty simple process—all you have to do is follow these steps:
    1. Press and hold the push-to-talk button for two seconds.
    1. Say “Bluetooth” and then say “pair.” If the system understands, it will bring up a set of instructions and a four-digit PIN on the multimedia display screen.
    1. Go to your phone’s Bluetooth settings and make sure Bluetooth is turned on. You should see “Your Vehicle” listed as an available device.
    1. Select “Your Vehicle” and start the pairing process, at which point you’ll be asked to enter the four-digit PIN from step 2.
    1. Once the PIN has been entered, you’ll be prompted to name your phone, after which you’ll need to confirm the name.
    1. Your phone should now be connected via Bluetooth to your 2011 GMC Acadia.
Using the steps provided above, you can connect up to five phones to your Acadia’s Bluetooth system.
