Where are a Toyota Camry’s jack points?

Welcome to the world of DIY car work! It’s an enjoyable way to save money, and learning more about how your car works only has upsides. This can be a messy place to start, but it’s a great way to learn too.
For almost all cars, including the Toyota Camry, you’ll find four jack points on the frame of the car. The front ones are behind the front wheels, right around the inner hinge line of the door. The rear jack points are in front of the rear wheels (on the driver end, not the trunk end).
It’s a good idea to get down on the ground with your trusty smartphone flashlight and look at the underside of the car first. You’ll see the jack points in the areas we just described, and they’ll look a bit different than the rest of the car’s frame.
You definitely want to consult your car’s manual to make sure you know exactly where the car’s jack points are. As you get into the DIY mechanic hobby, you’ll be consulting that manual a lot. If you don’t have it today, you can find it on the manufacturer’s website.
Some trucks and SUVs, as well as some older cars, won’t have specific jack points. You’ll instead need to use the frame of the car itself. But again, always consult your car’s manual before attempting to jack up the car.
