The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) light came on my Audi MMI dashboard but the tires don’t look underinflated. How do you check the tire pressure on Audi MMI?
Answer:
You can check your Audi MMI tire pressure with a tire pressure gauge
which can be purchased at your local auto parts store for $4. Here’s how you check your tire pressure:
Place the tire gauge on the valve stem
Read the air pressure gauge
Compare the number to the recommended tire pressure
As a general rule of thumb, your tire pressure should read between 32 and 36 psi but you can check your owner’s manual, driver’s side door jam sticker or tires to confirm the exact tire pressure for your Audi MMI.
If your tire pressure gauge reading is below 32 psi you have underinflated tires
and should fill your tires with air at the nearest gas station. To avoid the risk of getting a flat tire or even worse, a blowout, t’s a good idea to check your car’s tire pressure at least once a month. Regularly checking your tire pressure will also prolong the lifespan of the tires themselves!
