How to check Fiat tire pressure

Once you spot it, head over to your mechanic or a gas station with a tire filling station to inflate that tire to the recommended level.

Checking your tire pressure is easy. Just remove the valve stem cap from each tire and press a tire pressure gauge onto the valve stem. This will indicate a reading, telling you if you need to add more air—or remove some—to meet the recommended level.

There are also some warning signs for improperly inflated tires. In particular, watch for decreased performance, an uneven ride, and wonky steering. If you notice any of these, check your tire pressure. If the tires are inflated to the correct level, have your car inspected by a Fiat mechanic.

Try resetting your TPMS with one of these methods:

Inflate the tires to three PSI over the recommended level. Then, deflate and inflate them once again to the recommended tire pressure. Don’t forget to do this with your spare tire as well.

Drive 50 MPH for at least 10 minutes. The light should be off when you start your car the next time.

Turn on your car battery without turning on the ignition. Press and hold the TPMS reset button until the light blinks three times. Then, release the button and turn on the ignition. The light should be turned off.

With your vehicle turned off, disconnect the positive battery cable. Then, turn on the car, honk the horn for 3-5 seconds, and turn the car off again before reconnecting the
