How do you check the tire pressure on a 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan?

I just bought a used 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan and would like to check if the tires are inflated properly, but I’m not familiar with the process. How do you check the tire pressure on a 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan?

All you need to check the tire pressure of your Volkswagen Tiguan 2020 is a simple tire pressure gauge. For instructions on how to use one, check the steps below:
  • Remove each tire’s valve stem cap.
  • Press the end of the tire gauge into the valve stem and hold it there for a few seconds.
  • Check the pressure reading it gives you and compare that to the recommended tire pressure listed in your owner’s manual (for the 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan, this should be 38 psi).
  • Add or remove air as necessary and replace the valve stem cap.
  • Repeat for each tire.
If your 2020 Volkswagen Tiguan has a tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), you can check your tire pressure electronically via the multi-function display. Simply scroll one screen to the left and you should see a diagram of all four tires and their respective pressure readings.
Checking your Volkswagen’s tire pressure is easy, especially on newer models—almost as easy as reducing your
