How do you check the oil level in a BMW 328i?
Aside from getting oil changes, I don’t usually pay attention to the oil in my car. But my daughter told me that it’s something I should be looking at regularly. How do you check car oil at home on a BMW 328i?

Checking your oil level periodically is smart! Oil is a key component of your car’s engine health.
- Step 1: Turn your engine to the ON setting
- Step 2: Press the button labeled BC on the left side of your wheel
- Step 3: Scroll through the options on your display using the stalk above the BC button until you reach the oil can icon
- Step 4: Press the BC button again to select this setting
Once you’ve done this, you should see a small clock with moving hands on your screen, indicating that your car is measuring the oil level. The process typically takes about three minutes.
After three minutes, the oil level will appear on your car’s display.
