How do you change the oil life on a Honda Accord?

What’s the best way to change the oil life on my Honda Accord back to 100%? I got my oil changed, so the indicator should be at 100%. But it’s still at 23%, and I think it’s because they forgot to reset the light.

Your oil life indicator is a tool for keeping up with your
car maintenance schedule
, but it needs to be manually reset after each change. If you’re sure your oil life is at 100%, follow these steps to change the oil life indicator in your
Honda Accord
:
  1. Flip your ignition to the RUN position.
  2. Press the SELECT/RESET button to scroll through your settings until you find the Engine Oil Life option.
  3. Press and hold the SELECT/RESET button until the display begins to flash. It should take about 10 seconds.
  4. Release the SELECT/RESET button once the display starts to flash.
  5. Press and hold the button again—but only hold it for five seconds this time.
  6. Finally, turn your car off and back on. Your oil life should reset.
These steps should help you reset the oil life indicator in your Honda. But if you’re still having trouble with the light, you may need to
visit a mechanic
to make sure the sensor’s alright. While you’re waiting for them to check out your indicator, take a minute to save on car insurance with
