How do you care for a hybrid electric car?
I heard that a lot of states are trying to get rid of gas vehicles, and since it’s going to be time to switch vehicles soon, my wife wants to get an electric car. I think a hybrid will probably be easier to take care of. How do you care for a hybrid electric car?

Great question! Taking care of your hybrid electric vehicle is similar to taking care of your gas vehicle. Because hybrid vehicles have all the same internal combustion functions as a regular car, you still need to make sure you’re getting oil changed and all the little parts checked on.
We hate to tell you this, but your wife might be right. Electric vehicles are creeping into all parts of our Iives, and more states are legislating gas powered cars away.
Depending on the battery in your hybrid, it may need to be periodically checked on. This varies from vehicle to vehicle, so make sure you talk to your dealership about the one you have your eye on.
Other than that, gas powered vehicles have very similar upkeep to hybrids because hybrids still have all the internal combustion elements that make a gas car go. However, if you’re looking for less upkeep, consider a
fully electric vehicle
. Not only will it be safe when countries get rid of gas vehicles altogether, but it saves you money on gas and upkeep. Because it doesn’t have an internal combustion engine, you don’t need to get oil changes.
