sells paint pens! Here’s how to use a Honda touch-up paint pen to repair a scratch:- Start by washing the damaged area with soap and water to remove dirt. Dry your car, then tape around the area you plan to work on using masking tape.
- Begin applying the first coat of touch-up paint using the pen tip. Apply the paint in a uniform motion along the entire surface length of the scratch or scuff.
- Wait 10–20 minutes, then apply a second coat to ensure the paint depth matches the surrounding areas of the bumper. A third coat may also be necessary.
- Allow the paint to dry overnight, then apply two layers of clear coat using the felt tip on the other end of the paint pen. Again, wait 10-20 minutes between coats.
