I live in a rainy city and frequently have to adjust my wipers according to how rainy it is when I’m driving. I just bought a Ford Escape and I’m excited to try the rain sensing wipers, but I don’t know how to activate this feature. How do I turn on the rain sensing wipers on my Ford?

’s rain sensing wipers are a very helpful feature for drivers, as it allows them to focus on the road instead of having to figure out the best wiper speed. Further, the system can activate, deactivate, and adjust wiper speed according to moisture level, so drivers have better visibility.To turn on your rain sensing wipers, follow the steps below:
- Locate the automatic windshield wiper icon on your wiper stock. (Hint: It looks like a windshield with the letter A inside).
- Raise the wiper stock to the first position.
- Your rain sensing wipers will automatically turn on in bad weather and adjust their speed according to how wet this windshield is.
- You can adjust the sensitivity of the wipers by turning the inner ring up for higher sensitivity or down for lower sensitivity.
Keep in mind that these wipers will only wipe when they detect a certain moisture level on the windshield, so they may not wipe consistently.
