How do I turn off driving mode on a DROID Turbo?

I want to turn off the driving mode setting on my DROID Turbo so that Moto Assist stops automatically reading my text messages. Passengers riding in my car have heard my private text messages. Super embarrassing! How can I turn off driving mode?

Oh no, I’m so sorry to hear your phone put you on blast! On a Motorola DROID Turbo, you can turn off driving mode by adjusting your app settings or by removing the Moto Assist app entirely.
If Moto Assist keeps automatically turning on, here’s what you should do:
  1. Go to Apps
  2. Select the Moto app
  3. Select Assist
  4. Select Driving
  5. If you simply want to turn off auto-reading, untick the Talk to Me Box—if you want to completely shut down driving mode, select and hold Driving Activity and then choose the trash can
If you want to remove the Moto Assist app entirely, you will:
  1. Select Apps
  2. Go to Play Store
  3. Select Menu
  4. Select My apps
  5. Tap Moto Assist
  6. Select Uninstall and confirm by selecting OK
Now that you have your phone all straightened out, it’s a great time to shop for
