I teach driver’s education at a high school. I just started and want to make sure I am setting up the cones properly for tests. How do I set up driving test cones?

It’s always fun when we get a question out of left field! Here are some tips you can use the next time you’re setting up driving test cones:
- Set the cones up about 20 feet apart
- Set up some cones *15 feet apart to practice parking
- For first-time drivers, set up the cones in parallel lines to simulate a road
- Adjust the cones to simulate slight turns in the road
