I took my car in for an oil change a few days ago, but when I look at the oil life, it still reads 55%. How do I reset the oil life on my 2012 Honda Accord?

Just follow these instructions to reset the oil life on a 2012
Honda Accord
  • Turn the key once to access the accessories position. Make sure that you don’t start the engine.
  • Find the trip button that’s located on the right-hand side of the instrument cluster.
  • Hit the button twice or until you get to the oil life readout.
  • Hold the trip button for 10 seconds or until the oil life blinks.
  • Release the button.
  • Press and hold the button again for 5 seconds, or until the oil life reads 100%.
