I took my car in for an oil change a few days ago, but when I look at the oil life, it still reads 55%. How do I reset the oil life on my 2012 Honda Accord?
Turn the key once to access the accessories position. Make sure that you don’t start the engine.
Find the trip button that’s located on the right-hand side of the instrument cluster.
Hit the button twice or until you get to the oil life readout.
Hold the trip button for 10 seconds or until the oil life blinks.
Release the button.
Press and hold the button again for 5 seconds, or until the oil life reads 100%.
