How do I remove undercoating from car paint?

I repaired some rusty spots under my car but accidentally got some undercoating spray on my paint job. How can I get the undercoating off the car paint quickly and easily?

Follow these steps to clean off the undercoat
  • Start by wearing goggles, gloves, and a mask for safety.
  • Put some paint reducer or tar remover on a microfiber cloth.
  • Gently rub the undercoat in circles to remove the paint.
  • Repeat the process until the undercoating is gone.
  • Clean any tough spots with a clay bar.
  • Use soap and water to clean any remaining cleaner.
  • Wax the area to protect it from further damage.
