How do I play music through Audi Bluetooth?
I have an older model Audi that’s equipped with Bluetooth. When I bought the car, the used car salesperson told me that I could play music through Bluetooth. How do I do it?

Congrats on your new-to-you Audi! You can play music through Audi Bluetooth by enabling Bluetooth on your phone and using the Audi’s touchscreen. Just follow these steps to pump your favorite jams:
- Enable Bluetooth on your smartphone.
- Turn the key to the “ON” position.
- Using the touchscreen, select “Phone” and then “Connect mobile device”.
- Your phone should appear on the screen. Select it to enable Bluetooth audio streaming.
- Confirm that the two PINs match, and you’re set!
Keep in mind that your Audi has to be a 2013 or newer model to stream music via Bluetooth. If you have a 2012 or older model, Bluetooth only allows you to send and receive calls. In this case, you’ll need to buy an MP3 player and load it with music or purchase an aftermarket Bluetooth car kit for about $15 to $20.
